The background for Angie & John's love story was Evergren so it just made sense that when these two were deciding where to get married they knew they wanted to do it locally to their home. When we first got in contact they were considering holding an intimate ceremony at their home and wanted to have someone come out and see it.
After going back and forth on the many options and as their guest list expanded we nailed down the Evergreen Lake House as the perfect location for their wedding day. Initial they were worried about making it look full if not many people came but their guest list expanded and we added a stage for the epic dance party, we had the opposite problem.
One thing we find with many Colorado wedding venues is that they are overly rustic in style. One way we balanced this out with Angie & John wanting a lighter feel as well as something to match the season was to use a lot of light and white in the design. This lightened up the whole ambience of the room and gave the spring vibe.
