When I first connected with Cathy Lee, the first thing she told me was, “I want donkeys—donkeys serving beers.” I couldn’t help but laugh, and right then I knew we’d be a great match! Over nearly two years of planning, her vision evolved, but one priority stayed consistent: a wedding where every decision centered on an unforgettable guest experience.

We quickly booked their key vendors, focusing on creating an atmosphere everyone would love—from a crowd-pleasing menu to a lively band that would keep guests on the dance floor all night.

In terms of design, we explored a few different styles, starting with a “coastal grandma” aesthetic, which we transformed into a cozy, fall-inspired version that was perfect for the season and setting. Their colors fully embody a modern version of fall colors.

Knowing Cathy Lee and Cody wanted breathtaking mountain photos, we made sure their timeline allowed for a trip up Squaw Pass to capture those iconic moments. The couple was able to start their new lives standing on the edge of the world.
