This wedding at The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn was a showstopper! This elegant venue in Estes Park was perfect for Lauren and Brian’s special day. Lauren and Brian met when they began working together in college. After they got engaged, they dreamed of having a beautiful Rocky Mountain wedding and started planning their day with another planner. That planner wasn’t working out, so they ended up finding us and we worked with them to create a custom package that met their needs.

First Look at Estes Park Wedding

The couple chose The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park for their dream Rocky Mountain wedding. Lauren and Brian shared a beautiful first look prior to the ceremony on the grounds of the venue. The gorgeous greenery and trees provided a stunning contrast to Lauren’s elegant form fitting wedding dress. For the ceremony, Lauren wore a custom detachable tulle skirt that created the most gorgeous silhouette. She removed the skirt for the reception so that she could dance the night away. Lauren wore her hair in a sophisticated updo that framed her face beautifully and she carried a simple, yet classic, bouquet of calla lilies.

The wedding took place in the light filled ceremony space which has perfect mountain lodge touches throughout such as rock walls, wooden ceilings, and rustic chandeliers. The aisles were lined with white candles and rose petals which provided the perfect contrast to the dark wooden chairs and floors. The bride wore a detachable tulle train during the ceremony that added a layer of elegance to the nuptials. Lauren and Brian exchanged sentimental vows in front of their closest family and friends on a beautiful Colorado day. Then it was time to party!

The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn Reception Details

The couple wanted a timeless, elegant feel at their reception, so that’s what we designed for them! We chose an all white color palette to create a sophisticated atmosphere while emphasizing the rustic beauty of the venue. White calla lilies filled clear vases on the tables and were surrounded by white candles and rose petals as a nod to the simple elegance of the ceremony. White plates and gold chargers along with white and gold place cards added a touch of glamour to the reception. As a sweet gift, Lauren’s dad built the bench which was used as a guest book. Guests left thoughtful messages for the couple to read when they use the bench.

The Perfect Wedding Band

Lauren and Brian’s reception was one for the books! When we were planning their wedding, one of their top priorities was the music at the reception. They wanted to make sure their guests never left the dancefloor! To help them accomplish that, we helped vendor source the music to make sure they found the perfect band for their dream day. The couple chose the Diamond Empire Band who did a fantastic job of keeping everybody moving.
