Hannah and Natalie had the most beautiful, intimate Colorado Airbnb wedding during the summer. The couple was from out of state and wanted a unique venue to celebrate their love at, so they chose an Airbnb in Grand Lake, CO. Having their wedding at an Airbnb allowed them to have their dream Colorado mountain wedding while also saving some money. It was such an incredible experience helping Hannah and Natalie turn their Airbnb into a stunning ceremony and reception space.
Wedding Day Attire
For their Colorado Airbnb wedding, Hannah wore a gorgeous form-fitting satin gown with a deep v-neck and lace details down the sides. She carried a bouquet full of muted coral and blue flowers with unique greenery throughout. Hannah did a first look with her niece and nephews. The look on the kids’ faces was priceless! Natalie wore a dark blue suit with a coral and light blue floral bow tie that complemented Hannah’s bouquet perfectly.
Colorado Airbnb Wedding Ceremony
The couple had their ceremony in a beautiful outdoor space at their Colorado Airbnb. The space overlooked the lake and had small seating areas scattered throughout, so we placed the couple’s parents on the same level as them and put the rest of the guests on the level above. The set up really allowed them to have an intimate ceremony and exchange vows in front of the people who truly meant the most to them.
Meaningful Reception Details
For their reception, we set up the tables on the outdoor patio of the Airbnb. The couple chose floral arrangements with muted orange and yellow flowers for each of the tables. The flowers provided a pop of color against the dark wooden tables and navy napkins. On top of each of the napkins, we placed a mussel shell place card. Natalie collects shells, so it was a meaningful way to include one of her hobbies. The couple also wanted an American flag on the patio because Hannah was in the military, so we set up a flag close to the tables to honor her service. We loved getting to add touches of the couple’s personality throughout the reception for their Colorado Airbnb wedding.
Celebrating Gay Pride
As the evening went on, it started to rain, so we had to move dinner inside along with the couple’s portraits with their photographer. Luckily, they did get some great shots with rainbow smoke bombs before it started to rain. It was important to them to have that moment to celebrate their love. They also had a rainbow cake and got married during Pride month in order to celebrate gay pride. Hannah and Natalie didn’t let the rain ruin their night. They wanted to have a private dance, so they ended up dancing in the rain. It was such a beautiful moment and one they will never forget!
