Colorado Elopement at Juniper Mountain House | Elizabeth and Brian

Elizabeth and Brian’s Colorado elopement was an intimate day that was truly authentic to them. They started the day with an adventure photoshoot and ended with a Korean BBQ dinner for two. The couple wanted an all inclusive elopement, so we enjoyed getting to be there with them every step of the way.

Adventure Photoshoot

The couple loves the outdoors and Colorado, so they started the day with a sunrise photoshoot. Ana Grace Photo Co. found some amazing spots for photos, so the couple walked around with their dogs and enjoyed the outdoors. They also took some photos with their 4Runner which they enjoy exploring Colorado in. After that, the couple went to Juniper Mountain House to get ready for their Colorado elopement.

Intimate Colorado Elopement

Elizabeth and Brian did their first look and personal vows on the bridge at Juniper Mountain House. Elizabeth had custom watercolor vow cards made for them to use during their ceremony. Since they wanted an intimate elopement, they didn’t have an officiant. Elizabeth and Brian self-solemnized which is legal in Colorado. They also had Alexa Kilgore Acoustic play acoustic guitar, so it was so beautiful to see the couple standing in the forest while being serenaded by Alexa.

Golden Hour Photos

After exchanging their vows, the couple took some beautiful golden hour photos around Juniper Mountain House. They took some fun shots including having a tailgate beer in the back of their 4Runner and popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We loved that they had a specific vision for their Colorado elopement and that they embraced it wholeheartedly.

Colorado Elopement Reception

When Elizabeth and Brian got back to Juniper Mountain House, they cut their cake which was decorated with fondant replicas of their dogs. They also had soju, which is an alcohol that’s popular in Korea, in custom shot glasses. After that, they had Korean BBQ on the deck which was what they had on their first date. Elizabeth made everything, including the sushi, by hand. The couple enjoyed some time on the deck near the fire with their dogs then they did a beer tasting to wrap up their Colorado elopement.

We absolutely loved that Elizabeth and Brian incorporated things throughout the day that reflected them as a couple. All-inclusive elopements are such a great way to celebrate who you are as a couple and not have to stress about anything.
