We had the pleasure of planning an amazing styled shoot at Queensberry Rules Coffee House recently. One of our former couples, Liz and Caroline, are proud women/LGBTQ+ owners of the coffee shop in the Lower Highlands neighborhood of Denver and they wanted to have a styled shoot to help market their space. Queensberry Rules Coffee House can hold 40 people so it’s perfect for small receptions and events. Our friend (and former spin instructor), Julia Rae Dorsey, modeled for us and we had a fabulous female team of vendors, so we had so much fun showing off Liz and Caroline’s beautiful space!
Soft, Warm Color Palette with Baby Blue Accents
For the design, we wanted to soften up the space, so we chose a soft, warm color palette with baby blue accents against the exposed brick. Figment Floral designed a large floral centerpiece for the table filled with warm peach, coral, pink, and white flowers. We added pale blue taper candles, white tea light candles, and a sheer white fabric table runner to add some romance to the table.
Custom Signage by McArthur Weddings and Events
We had fun playing around with the different set ups in the space and utilizing the natural light at Queensberry Rules Coffee House. First, we included an espresso martini tower as a nod to the coffee shop. We are now offering signage at McArthur Weddings and Events, so we designed and created this sign an “Express-o Your Love” for the display. We also made the mirror sign above the bench with candles and the floral installation. There was also a cake table with a beautiful two tier white cake that had intricate lace detailing created by Kelly Leigh Cakes that added another romantic touch.
Exterior of Queensberry Rules Coffee House
Queensberry Rules Coffee House has such a cute exterior so we loved getting some shots out there. Julia Rae looked gorgeous in a form fitting gown with a deep-V neckline and statement headband. She carried a hand-tied bouquet full of white and pink flowers that added a romantic touch to her modern gown. The coffee shop’s garage door offered the best lighting and shadows for our photographers, so they got some amazing shots out front.
We really enjoyed getting to work with a fabulous team of vendors to show off the beautiful events space at Queensberry Rules Coffee House. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for an intimate space with an industrial feel. We’re also excited to be offering signage now! If you’re looking for custom signage for your next event, let’s talk!
