Sentimental Day at Evergreen Wedding Venue | Ivee and Travis

Ivee and Travis had a day full of sentimental details at Juniper Mountain House, a beautiful Evergreen wedding venue. Some of the details included unique ways to honor a beloved family member and a cute nod to their cat. Ivee and Travis had the perfect moody, boho day at Juniper Mountain House that we’re so excited to share!

Boho Wedding Look

Ivee wore a dress that had a gorgeous illusion bodice with floral lace appliques down the sleeves and a low cut back. It was the perfect mix of boho and glam. She had a fingertip length veil that was tucked into her updo that provided a romantic touch. For her flowers, Ivee carried a hand-tied, asymmetrical bouquet full of cream, white, and burnt orange flowers with various types of leafy stems to add texture and color. It looked so stunning when paired with Travis’ brown suit. Travis wore suspenders, so we also got some great shots of him with his jacket off for a more casual look.

Sentimental Ceremony Details

Travis and Ivee were looking for an Evergreen wedding venue with an intimate, outdoor ceremony site, so Juniper Mountain House was perfect. In memory of Travis’ little brother who passed away, they had an empty chair in the front row with a photo so that he could be part of the day. The ceremony decor was kept simple with black lanterns lining the aisle and boho floral installations on the ceremony arch. It was the perfect decor so that guests could enjoy the beauty of nature around them. Ivee and Travis exchanged vows then it was time to celebrate!

Photos around Evergreen Wedding Venue

Before the reception, the couple took pictures together and with their bridal party. The bridesmaids wore dresses in different styles and different shades of brown and cream. They carried boho bouquets full of cream, burnt orange, and plum flowers that looked gorgeous with their dresses. The groomsmen wore white button down shirts with brown suspenders and khaki pants. We loved the way the attire complimented the wooded forest around them. Ivee and Travis also took pictures at various spots around the Evergreen wedding venue including some golden hour photos with a smoke bomb which really turned out great.

Moody, Boho Wedding Reception

For their reception welcome table, the couple displayed a beer bottle that Ivee saved from their first date in Davenport, Iowa in 2016. It was such a unique, sentimental detail that we’d never seen before. The couple wanted to carry the moody vibe to the reception, so they incorporated pops of plum and burnt orange along with greenery throughout the table decor. The boho theme was also carried over to the cake which was a three tier brown cake with flowers that had a bite taken out of it by a mischievous orange cat, which was a tribute to their own cat. After dinner, toasts, and cake cutting, Travis put on one of his little brother’s ties with the help of his mom as a tribute to his late brother. We loved the unique way he honored someone who meant so much to him.

Ivee and Travis had the perfect moody, boho day at Juniper Mountain House. The Evergreen wedding venue is an amazing place to host an intimate day in the foothills. If you’re looking for a planner to help coordinate your day, reach out so we can help your day run smoothly!
